Alexandra Cousteau's Blue Planet Expedition in North America stopped in Toronto to focus on urban waterways.
The expedition team stayed 10 days in Toronto, their longest stop of the whole 138 expedition to film a web documentary on the hydrological cycle in cities and how some rivers and creeks simply disappear underground in cities.

Bike train service is expanding considerably in Ontario and Quebec this summer. Via Rail will be running 150 bike trains weekly along its Windsor-Quebec corridor and beyond, from June 6 to October 31. Bike trains are proving to be a powerful driver of local economic development through cycle tourism.
