Asthma by province in Canada, 2005

Nova-Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince-Edward-Island have the highest asthma prevalence in Canada, followed by New-Brunswick, Quebec, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Young teenagers (10-14 years) suffer the most from asthma compared to all other age groups.

In the younger age groups, male suffer more than female (0-14), while in the older age groups, female have more asthma than males (15-64), especially in the 15-19 years bracket.
